(Electronics) works with my D3100 but only in manual mode. if its in anything but manual mode the camera says no lens attatched. (Electronics) Having rented the Nikon version, I have no qualms using this 'unfamous' brand instead and am more than happy with the results and in saving big $. No extreme distortion. Cap fit isn't the best so make sure it is as snug as possible to prevent damage to a bulging lens. (Electronics) got this for a photo project I was working on, but didn't want to spend 1000 on the Sigma. I found this is a great lens for the money and especially if its not going to be your primary lens (who would shoot primarily in fisheye anyways). I wrote more and included pictures on my blog so you could be the judge.[...].
