This review is from: TAMRON SP AF90 F2.8 Di Macro 1:1 for Nikon 272E NII (Accessory) I was just "browsing" for a macro lens when I saw this little beauty in the used department at warehouse deals. For $73 I could barely pull my wallet out quickly enough, afraid someone would snap it up before I did, but I was in luck. One of the sharpest macro lenses out there, even beats the Nikkor 105 by a smidgeon. Why it was so cheap I'll never know, but the lens focuses quickly, acurately, and quietly. Works well with extension tubes too! Only drawback is it does not work on the cheapy non-focus motorized Nikons. But for my d700 it was the Best deal ever!
